ALS United NC Expands Access to Care in Western North Carolina Partnering with New UNC Health Pardee ALS Clinic

ALS United North Carolina is proud to welcome the UNC Health Pardee ALS Clinic to our network of multidisciplinary clinics across the state. Multidisciplinary ALS clinics are considered the gold standard of care, and we are fortunate to now partner with seven outstanding clinics in North Carolina—bringing specialized care and support closer to home for more people living with ALS.

The Pardee ALS Clinic will be led by Neurologist Hannah Machemehl, MD. To further strengthen support, ALS United NC Care Services Coordinator Kimberly Gamble will be onsite the first Wednesday of each month to provide guidance and direct services to patients and families.

This expansion represents an important step in serving families in western North Carolina, reducing the burden of travel while ensuring access to the highest quality care.

We are excited to celebrate this milestone and look forward to the positive impact this clinic will have on the ALS community.
