Announcing the Promotion of Claudia Beirne to Senior Director of Care Services

We are thrilled to share the news that Claudia Beirne has been promoted to Senior Director of Care Services at ALS United North Carolina. Claudia has been a cornerstone of our organization for many years, bringing compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication to the ALS community across the state.

During her tenure, Claudia has worn many hats, most recently serving as Director of Care Services Operations, where she managed statewide support programs for people living with ALS and their families. From strengthening our network of support groups to overseeing vital equipment-loan programs, she has played a central role in shaping how care services are delivered at ALS United NC. Known for her accessibility and deep knowledge, Claudia has become a trusted point of contact not only for families navigating ALS but also for partners and providers who work alongside us in care.

This promotion recognizes Claudia’s long record of service and her ability to lead with both heart and vision. In her new role as Senior Director of Care Services, she will take on broader responsibilities, including setting the strategic direction of our care services program, mentoring staff, and building innovative approaches to expand our reach and impact. Her leadership will ensure that we continue to deliver consistent, responsive, and compassionate care across North Carolina.
